Are you ready to spring into action for the coming term?  If so, we are hosting a number of workshops over the coming months, guaranteed to promote spiritual and intellectual fitness!

Below is a short description of each workshop.  Should you have further queries on any of these, please give us a call.  We would be glad to tell you a little more!

For your convenience we are providing one Application Form for all the Workshops.  All you have to do is indicate the workshops you are attending and return the form to us before 2nd February ‘ 99 along with a booking deposit of £25 per course (or full payment, if you wish).

Please note that those who attend the following three workshops will receive a voucher worth £60.00 towards future Continuing Education courses with W.T.I.

This will help priests and all who proclaim God’s word to reflect in particular on the current lectionary cycle and address some of the challenges preachers of the Gospel face today. Connemara fishermen speak of An t-am – the right combination of wind and wave to launch their boats. As a new century dawns, it is timely to examine the future of Christian faith, rediscovering its core while taking account of changing cultural realities. This conference will provide participants with fresh insight into the enduring truths of Christian faith while opening up new horizons for parish and community renewal. It is open to all. As we begin the last Lent of this Millennium, the Church throughout the world has been invited to engage in "a great pilgrimage to the house of the Father whose unconditional love for every creature we discover anew each day"(Tertio Millennio Adveniente). Our Lenten workshops of three evenings will reflect on the following themes:
  1. Paths to Healing and Wholeness: the Celtic Legacy
  2. "As we forgive those who trespass against us" – struggling to leave hurt behind.
  3. Generously Offering the Sign of Peace - Healing wounds and forgiving debts

These workshops will provide practical ideas for celebrating the authentic biblical understanding of Jubilee in a parish context. Each night there will be a focus on theology, rituals and music relating to healing, conversion and reconciliation.

Cut out this schedule and keep it for future reference!
